importing boat from USA, good or bad??

 Thinking about importing from USA has anyone done this before? did u have any probs?

 I imported twice when the dollar was good. Used Portsea Marine and had no issues either time. Not worth it now unless you want something not available here. What boat are you after? There's US imports available at a reasonable price here now. PM if u want more info

 Same as stevo81 I've imported 2 boats now through Portsea marine Justin is a top bloke and so easy to deal with nothing harsh about importing a boat I got my boat ATM surveyed best thing I did you no what your up for and more piece of mind to 

the old buck is down a bit and cod pick up once trump is in so maybe hold off for now

As above, I imported with the $A/US at 1.10 and the US was in the bin. Got a great deal in the US and on the exchange.

This has all changed now.....
