Just wondering what has happened to the hotbite forums and what is going on over there?

I thought that they would have warned us about the impending changes?
I was hoping they hadn't banned me for posting up my latest video! But its seems its down for everyone else as well. :(

From the page I get it looks like they are changing their host or something? No idea really, they did mention a while back that they were going to change the format of the site as it hadn't been upgraded in over 4 years. But i figured they would have let people know.. I think you are probably right thou, be interesting to see what db/dario say about it all.

mmmm makes one wonder hey, sound's like they may be moving host etc, but when you see pages like that, it means the server is under going a service which can be done with out shuting down peoples web sites, or it could be a closure of an account.
It could be any thing, just wait untill we hear from Dario.

A week?
Must be having some serious troubles over there! I wanted to get on and congratulate them on their Sept mag and how my article came out.. Was very happy with the way they did it, even thou the payment was a bit disappointing, but all in all, i'm happy and i'm more than sure they will be too.

It seems like hotbite management don't like me having a link to my site underneath my posts anymore.. Rather sad, but I do see their point.. Not like I am taking any money or anything from them, but I spose it had to happen sooner or later..

Thats a bit harsh I think, most places will let you whore your site in your sig. But then it's their site so they can do what they like I suppose. Aw well.

Yeh.. Apparently because other people have been seen to be advertising their site on hotbite.. But its not actually a link, because you can't link in signatures on their site, so slowing it down is unlikely.. What i was thinking was more because they are trying to get their website back up and getting hits again and it defeats the purpose of them advertising in their mag when their main contributors have their own sites..
Strangely enough.. they still let monskie have his signature to advertise his own pictures!
