A good Bankside spot on the Swan

A friend is seeking a good spot with some shade to fish the Swan, with at least a chance of bream .....land based and with close parking as have a baby in tow .....suggestions would be much appreciated

Park next to Ascot racecourse and follow the footpath (bitumen) down to the river.

Claughton Reserve in
Claughton Reserve in Bayswater ticks every box - can park right behind your spot. Gentle chuck into the main flow and it's game on. Kings Meadow Reserve in Guildford is good as well, decent Bream under your feet against the boards.

Heirison island
Herison island can work. Parking and u can find a spot in the shade and out of the breeze. U may have to move around to find fish but usually something on the chew.
