spose to best bait would be maggots hey? or pieces of prawn! not an expert on catching these things..

all i know is they make wicked macky n billfish baits..

got a heap around dawesville cut about a month ago.

I was out at the first marker NW of north mole the other day and burlied up. The gardies were there within seconds as well as yellow tail. they were all good size and were caught on those little bait jigs. So they are definately there in numbers.

I saw a really big school off the rockingham palm beach jetty a few weeks back, but none would bite =(

They seen to think the preferred bait is maggots on baitchasers down that way.

I might have to put an order in Sam if you can get a few.

SAM what we do here is mix a bag of flour and bread crubs, throw out hand fulls and wait for them to come. Without bull crapping you we waited ten minutes, threw two casts over them and filled a ten kg bucket. I dont know if it will work down there but worth a shot. Spent half an hour getting them out of the cast net

I dont think we are allowed to use cast nets down here unfortunately.
