furuno fcv 620 head unit wanted

long shot , but my furuno fcv 620 has taken ill , wont turn on but has power to the unit ....so local techs cant look at till after xmas/new year
given its age , im thinking a quick fix might be if anyone has ahead unit etc they may be willing to sell ?/
that would get me through xmas and give me time to suss out a new furuno upgrade that is cable compatible etc

Open it up and have a look if it is not in warranty. I fried my lowrance. Done a bit of research and found out a bit about the units and circuit boards. I had fried a CMS (Common Mode Choke). I got a replacement at altronics today so will put in tonight when i get home and see if she fired up. If it does work i wounder how many units have been throwen in the bin due to circuit issues which could be repaired...
