FURUNO 587 with airmar 1KW transducer setup

Hi guys,
The boat i purchased last year came with a Furuno 587 and airmar 1kw transducer. Ive been struggling with setting it up to so i looks like some of the sounder shots ive seen in this forum.
i used to find it easier to find fish and identify structure with my old Lowrance POS.
any help with some settings to make it easier for me to setup would be great. mainly fish perth metro in 20 to 60mtrs targeting demersals.
i have the manual and have been doing a bit of reading up but most of the info comes from US pages in different fishing applications.
any help would be great. thanks

Put some photos of your install up mate and we may be able to help. Other that that that is the wrong transducer for furuno
