flexi or stiff blade?

Which kind of filleting blade do you prefer??
Currently using a marttiini which has a little flex and is pretty good. Just never tried the stiff bladed knives.

I only use a blade with flex
I only use a blade with flex for pelagics, anything reefy I use something stiffer like the Dexter Russell C131, see also this thread -->http://fishwrecked.com/forum/cheers-dunsborough-outdoor-sportz

Worked in a fish department
Worked in a fish department back in the day and having both handy is always good. bigger fish its normall easier to fillet with a stiffer knife but get the flexi one out for skinning.

stiff
stiff blade for me, as far as skinning goes, tramontina 12inch barra skinner. used one away for work as soon as i got home to the computer first thing i did was order my own. An absolute joke how easy and precise it is to skin anything, even trevally with that knife.

Yeah , I've got a cheap knife
Yeah , I've got a cheap knife that has a long straight flexible blade that is great for skinning , but wanted to try a different filleting knife.
Quite keen to try one of the high carbon steel green rivers. The word is , you can get a keener edge on h/c steel.

try mine before you buy any
Grahem if you want, your welcome to borrow mine to see if you like stiff blades before you buy one.
I got a few different brands, shapes + sizes , most or all are stiff blades with no flex or very little if any.
