First trip

Fri, 2008-04-04 19:35

I made my first trip in a Finn Gizmo yesterday. I was concentrating just trying to staying afloat in a calm creek, let alone the open ocean hooked to a rampant sambo.

Good luck, you'll need it IMO.

Hobie

Dont believe all the sales hype on that fishyak forum, it's a website owned by a brand specific dealer.

Head down to Matilda bay saturday morning the 5th to test paddle most of the Hobie range of kayaks.

I'd be getting some serious hours of experience under your bum on a yak before you go trying to jig sambos out deep, it sounds like fun but I can guarrantee you it's for experienced lunatics only.

I'll be out there next season for sure, just couldnt get it organised this season cuz nobody wanted to join me, plenty said they would but nobody fronted.

Sharks? meh!!!!!

Cheers, Al.

kayak sales of Ocean Kayaks, Finn, AKA, Old Town, Necky, Malibu and Hobie kayaks.

I paddle the best, if there was better I'd own it.

brenz. i would try the forum www.akff.net it has heaps of good info and there r lots of people there who regurlarly fish for big fish offshore. they should be able to help u out.
