Fish rules question

I know you are not allowed to fillet fish at sea but could not see anything about gutting them at sea was out on the water today and caught some pinkies and went to clean them at home and larger one had a full belly of partly digested herring smelt like a can of assholes the mrs was not impressed when she went in the kitchen

Cheers

You can gill & gut at sea. You can fillet at sea also providing you keep the skin & scales attached with at least 30cm being a fillet (two fillets makes one fish)
