Fish rules question

I know you are not allowed to fillet fish at sea but could not see anything about gutting them at sea was out on the water today and caught some pinkies and went to clean them at home and larger one had a full belly of partly digested herring smelt like a can of assholes the mrs was not impressed when she went in the kitchen

You can!
You can gill & gut at sea. You can fillet at sea also providing you keep the skin & scales attached with at least 30cm being a fillet (two fillets makes one fish)

I my fish on the way home
I my fish on the way home from fishing ,keeping the hole fish on board still ,then if stoped i have the whole fish still to show fisheries ,i don't fillet the just size fish ,if i have any.I do keep skin on all fillets .
