moses perch or black spotted pearch im guessing altho very faint in the pic the dark spot on the lateral line gives it away. they look very simmilar to a fingermark bream altho i recon you would hav to be very lucky to land one so far south, they still taste great tho.

yeh the spot on the top fish was pronounced when i caught it, shouldnt of scaled it b4 the photo.

agree with micktree, also known as a sadletail snapper, the cod looks a bit like a passionfruit cod

the saddle tail seaperch has a much redder colour and doesnt have yellow fins, type both fish into google search for more facts.

second fish is known as a western wirrah, nomally encounterd further south the western wirrah grows to approx 500mm in length, ther are three common species: eastern wirrah-eastern states, western wirrah-south aus to west aus and yellow banded wirrah south aus and west aus and east aus.- caught a wirrah off the reef at prevaly in margs and mate tried to eat it he rated it average.
