finally get my boat back

pick up my boat this week....woohoo... now to catch my first wa fish...can someone recommend anny areas to get a feed of king george whiting???? i live donw mandurah way few ppl have told me to go to cockburn sound...any ideas will be grrreat thanks

Five Fathom...
...off Mandurah. As said, very hit and miss, but the fish are almost always over 50cm. I've done reasonably well driftbaiting the back edge, using either whole mulies or strips of fresh skippy flesh on double-snelled 2/0's.
Cockburn Sound is more consistant but won't see many fish above 35cm. I've only ever had success there with freshly caught squid tentacles but coral prawns should be just as effective.
