Fair price FADS & Marlin charters

Just wondering what you think a fair price would be to go game fishing for dollies and marlin for an 8 hour day off Rotto. All equipment and lunch would be supplied. The vessel is a 34ft Black  Watch, licensed to carry 8 passengers. Could also do deep dropping if you wanted.

$300

But it would be a limited market and not sure if that would go close to covering costs and would not want more than 4 people max.

whitey charged about this with four max, but I think he was doing it to establish game fishing, not making the big $$$

The companies up in exmouth

The companies up in exmouth seem to charge about 1400-1800 a day from memory so $300 sounds a little bit light based on four people.

Like ricey says, probably a more limited market in perth, so probably good to offer sone  different options, deep drop, sambo jigging etc?

Awesome idea

I'd personally pay $400ish for that experience. Not sure why peeps are saying no more than 4 people? Maybe if you're deep dropping, then no more than 3-4 lines down at any one time, but 6 - 8 people trolling wouldn't be a prob (to keep individual costs down), just do 10 min rotations.

scotto, I think 4 would be

scotto, I think 4 would be the max for me, might only get one shot at a bill fish in one day if you are very lucky so with 6-8 people you have almost no chance.
