Double Uni Knot

I use a double uni knot to attach my line to a shock leader for casting , is there a better knot or what do you use.

Bimini twist
Uni knot is fine but put a bimini twist on your main line first before joining to your leader.

bimini to a double uni. only
bimini to a double uni. only time they have given way is when it wasnt tied properly or the mono was old. many ways to tie the shock on but i find this way easier

you still have the tag of
you still have the tag of mono that will get caught on the runners when your bringing in a fish. it looks easy enough to do tho

na u can cut the tag closer
na u can cut the tag closer though. i just get a lighter and slightly singe the mono causing a very small mushroom head so there is no chance of slippage. u can tie this knot in any line class

FG knot mate. Once you learn
FG knot mate. Once you learn it, you will never use anything else, I use it for everything now, even 8 lb braif to 15 lb leader.
