Don't waste your money on an Ebay one. Mate brought one for our Exy trip and it lasted 5 minutes.

Contact Dave from Extreme Coolers. The one he sells is top notch. Will out last any other brand by a mile.

 Ha ha, yea a mate got one from ebay. He brought it over to my houseto show me how good it was. You just had to hold this bit move that bit press down here and hold your tounge in the right place and bang, it works. I got mine about 10 years ago from master butcher. Payed $500 bucks but it's still going. Turn on, put bag down close lid it seals open  and you repeat. Orved pro it's called

I got a Luvelo which is one of the cheap ebay brands. I've had it for a couple of years and never had a problem with it. Probably gone through 100 meters or so of bags in that time.

cryovac machine

Wed, 2014-07-23 13:12

Hi Matty, if you want a very repuatable cryovac machine (at a right price also) we sell the Evapack Matic. Dave/Extreme Coolers brings them in and we are a stockist. They are a great seller and many FW members are very happy with their purchase.

Below is a bit of info on the unit;

EVAPACK MATIC is an Italian made product that has been around for many years. Theres many FW members that have already purchsed one and all the feedback is very good.

It’s performance, power and reliability is extremely impressive. Whether you are in the kitchen, on a fishing trip or heading out on a camping trip, the EVAPACK MATIC will get the job done.

There's no doubt cryovacing your fish or meat etc will keep it at its best and will last a lot longer in the freezer (without freezer burn also).

In each EVAPACK MATIC box it comes with 3 different sizes cryovac bags to start with. (We also stock the main size cryovac bags)

We are doing a FW Special soon but we can offer that to you now, its $199 (Normally $249) so big savings.

PM us for more info, happy to help.

(Dimensions - 17cm x 42 cm x 9.5cm)

 Yeah get that one. I started with with a cheap and it was a pain in the ass. Was slow and over heated takes about 2 hours to do a roll of scotch fillet. Brought a better one and love it
