Cray Pot Lifter

Hi All,

I've been looking at purchasing one of the following lifters for the boat;

http://www.craypotlifter.com/

Just wondering if anyone has one of these lifters fitted on their boat? If so is it any good?

Also - does anyone know if this year is shaping up to be a good year for crays?

cheers

Wayne

weve got one and there real good for keeping the pots off the paintwork but by no means does it make them easier to lift up, there also good because you can deal with it out off the boat and keep all the weed and crap out of the boat, we fitted it to a rail and we use the rail on the other side to tie the rope onto so it holds its self as there not light and this then makes dropping and pulling possable with two people.

cheers

Since im a tight arse and dont want to fork out for a pot lifter. Om thinking about mounting a old boat roller on the side of my boat for the cray poy rope to run on. Less friction means easier pull
