Charters in Karratha?
Submitted by steelhead on Thu, 2008-11-27 16:47
I am hoping for some advice on fishing charters out of Karratha. My wife and I are coming over in January to look at a job there-thinking of making the big move from Canada next year...are there any fishing charters available out of Karratha? Hoping to get some fishing in while we are there.
Would greatly appreciate any info on this.

If your looking for something a little different from the usual bottom bashing, try Simmo from Aqualand charters Ph. (08)91831885, He does a lot of inshore light tackle (not necessarily small fish) and rivers/creeks for Barra, Salmon, Jacks etc.
Cheers, Mick

Na seriously send brad a pm mate and he sould be able to point you in the right direction. Not much he doesnt know about up there.

Just read your profile, man you got a huge move on your hands and good luck with it. When i lived in karratha before i purchased my tinny i use to go out on "Point Samson Charters" about 30 min drive north of Karratha, they own the Lodge hotel too and have the best restaurant in the area (Ta Ta's). Have fun....

Thanks for the advice...and the good luck wish!
...figure it will all be worth it in the end if the fishing is half as good as it seems to be in the area, judging by the fishing stories on the site here!
