hi am going to cevantes tomorrow so exicited i was wondering if i should bring my baitcaster 5'6 or mi 7' and spinner reel and have you heard of any good reports lately im also going to hill river what do u catch there

plenty at the town jetty
plenty at the town jetty herring yakka skippy ,at night catch tailor and squid also some unstoppable sambos frequent the area,hill river ,bigger tailor,mulloway and sharks hope this helps

Use both rods! baitcaster
Use both rods!
baitcaster with some lures or plastics and ur 7' with a whole mulie on a gang of hooks.

At Cervantes fish the NW
At Cervantes fish the NW side of the jetty. Tiny baits and no weight for gardies and herring. Baitcast whole mulies for tailor if they are around.

i used to go to cervantes heaps with the family but only ever stayed at the caravan park, ive got a 4x4 now so would like more places to go

Hill River is between
Hill River is between Cervantes and Jurien. The river is closed at the moment though, but still good fishing up that way regardless.

Whats the saying, I'm sure someone else has heard this one in regard to Hill River.
If the River ain't flowing then it ain't worth going, and guess what, it ain't flowing
Buschy and i can vouch for the fact that the jetty is fishing way better ATM, like Buschy said, fish NW corner.
