Canning river-got busted twice

Hi all,
I have been fishing canning river for bream for about an year now. In the last two trips i have been busted off by something....I upgraded the gear from 4kg to 10kg and still got busted? Bait was half mulie with no sinker. It gets picked up on 3rd bite and after that a long run. There are boats parked about 50 meters away from where I fish and this fish go straight under them.
What do you guys think....would it be a stingray or a shark?

I could feel a shake and then
I could feel a shake and then long run......that thing went ariel further out, that was a big splash but far enough that i couldnt figure out in the dark...

depending on where in the
depending on where in the swan/canning there are sambos in there small ones but they run like a train ive got snapper in the swan as well out around mossie bay and some big runs as well

There goes your 30kg mulloway:).....most likely a ray, many years of mulloway fishing in the swan and that's all I've caught. That first big run always gets my heart pumping.

will most deffinatly be an eagle ray have been targeting them in the river latley managed a few nice specimens at canning bridge over the past week one even jumping a good meter out of the water :) and most of the time if its a decent sized one they will. just tail whip the line and bust of
