if your just goign to be situated in busso i would take the yak

you might pic up a few bonito trolling lures/livies.

there are always the sambo's and bread and butter species hanging around as well as some king george.

if you can't get out fishing the bay is just a great play to unwind and paddle for a bit!

3 mile

If you are set up and have a sounder the 3 mile may be worth a try.Pinkies, small sambo and king george whiting can be found along with skippy and the possibility of a small dhuey.
Its a thin strip/edge/drop off that runs parallel to the shore about 3 miles out, goes nearly down as far as Siesta Park

Be careful if you are going to fish around the jetty

I heard they have an exclusion zone there at the moment for watercraft.

Exclusion

Callum,
I think you will find that the exclusion zone will be in place until the jetty rebuild is in process.
Cheers,
David
