Bucaneer 2015

Another awesome Bucaneer Archipelgo trip done, and what a trip!

Went much further this year 800+kms. All the way to the Sale and Glenelg river. With stopovers in silvergull,3 ways, ruby falls, kinfisher and sleeping in the Montogery reef for a night with all the sharks rushing over the reef to get in to the hole. What a sight. A quick swim in the whole to see schools of 60cm plus jacks, trout and everything you can imagine.

From charging Hammerheads, tigers, crocs to 100kg+ unstoppable gropers, fresh water barra, salt water barra and all the usual jacks, trout, fingermark, queenies etc etc. No record fish caught but plenty even though the fishing was hard in 12knot + tides.

Enjoy the pictures(more to come)

Vinnie

And looked like a top trip.

How long did the trip go for? What was the total cost per man?

Looked at doing similar but costs were calculated as too much..:(

We went for 8 nights which is a good time!

Total cost per person didnt really work it out to be honest but it would have been between 1200-1500ish. This was on a Private boat that my cuz has in Broome. I believe on a charter its around the 8-10k mark!

Wow even at the top end of $1500 that is pretty good value.

We had the added expence of getting a large boat from Perth up to there. Only 4 blokes and our alcohol expence was calculated to 1/3 of your total each..Lol

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the photo's.

Looked like an awesome trip, thinking of doing something similar in a couple of years time.

How big were the boats, and how many people did you fit on each of them?
