im going to get a bream rod and reel for my birth the 200 dollar mark i probably wull get a shimano mexican fire rod but not sure about the reel 1000? what would u get i like the shimano stufff?

Have a look at the phlueger trion 2-4kg. I'm happy with mine.

Just 2 bits of advice.
don't post so many threads about the same topic.
keep the mexican rod and reel the 1000 is perfect!!! fill it with 8lb braid and that a great combo!!!
Shimano= LifeTime warranty or is it 10year?
