It really depends on how much

It really depends on how much you want to spend. I've got a team Daiwa pro which is a great stick but it cost around the $250 mark but I've also just bought one of the Fishing WA sticks recommended by a few people which is a nice rod too and cost $170

 Hey Watkins. For that budget

Hey Watkins. For that budget I wouldn't go past a shimano raider

In around the 2 to 4 kilo. I've got two of them, fantastic rods.

depends on budget

Wed, 2012-05-16 15:55

mate really depends on budget, Raider rods are good, they have three different types now, Mexican fire, Soft plastics or hard body lure project. all roughly around the $139.00 mark, or you can go a t-curve in the 2-5kg range around the $199.00 mark, or even the Pflueger Trion range for around the $120.00 mark, or the TDT range of team Daiwa rods. dude really depends on what you want to spend at the end of the day, Personally i have all of the above mentioned rods and all preform extremely well.

Shimano Starlo Stix 2-4 kg great rods

Shimano Raider Mexican Fire are wicked rods

Abu Garcia Veritas 3-5 kg 1 piece - great rod for the price, got mine for 99 bucks.  if you go lighter 1-3 or 2-4 kg it will be 2 piece

I have only good things to

Wed, 2012-05-16 18:54

I have only good things to say about the Pflueger Trion. Very nice rod for the price. I use a daiwa spellbinder 2-4kg, but thats a little out of your price range.

Spell Binder

Wed, 2012-05-16 19:20

Leemo I've been looking at these spellbinders, really good spec rods, is yours 1 or 2 piece? I notice the 1 piece can cast 12g and the 2 piece can cast 8g. Also what reel do you run on it ?

what do you think to the plflueger patrich?

2 peice, 7ft mate. ive casted 40g no worries on it haha. I run a 2500 CI4 Stradic. The rod and reel colours match :3 haha, nah, i love it, real nice feel in it. The grips could be a little better, but i love the tapered but section.

The FWA 2-4kg 6'6 1 pce Finesse Spin is a great rod and we have them for $149

The Pflueger Trion 2-4kg 6'6 1 pce Light Spin is a great rod also, we have them for $119

We do have other brands here also but the above two rods are very popular indeed.
