Don't know if anyone interested, it appears Stessco in liquidation in Queensland. They have 32 boats up for sale, some partly built it appears. The auction is on Grays.com

Sea Adex as well according
Sea Adex as well according to the rumours. Be a few more to come over the next year too. Plenty of builders thinking the good times would never end.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Interesting
So those two boat builders going broke, I think they're both in QLD.
There has been a lot of disscussion on this forum about tackle stores and other associated businesses going broke because of the fishing restrictions.
I sold my own boat about a year ago. But that's WA. Has there been more stringent fishing rules implemented in other States also?
Is that the reason for the down turn in boat sales or do you think its the broader economy, interest rates.? Or both?

boat sales.
Why would you sell your boat? its about going fishing and if you catch a fish its a bonus. Now how are you going to get out of mowing the lawn and getting away from the missus when she starts to whine and nag. A bad days fishing is better than a good days work, it good therapy, better than yoga or bashing your head against the wall.

boat sales
Ha ha , Yeah I got rid of the missus too. I will get another boat, one day. There was more than one reason but the restictions on demersals was a big one.
I still fish from the beach.
