To avoid the blowies around

To avoid the blowies around the clubs and on the flats look at sticking with hard body lures. This doesn't mean you have to just use stick bait or minnow style lures either. There are a great range of small lipless crankbait, or vibe lures as they are known, on the market these days which means you have a hb that you can fish like a plastic. There are also some great blade, metal vibe, lures on the market that seems to be doing well on tope of the usual hb. Worth a try for sure.

HTH.

i lost a Lively Lures "MIcro Mullet" in orange/black/yellow to a thumper of a bream at the canning bridge. Lure wise i use bibbed minnows and soft plastics. use whole river prawns without the head on a single size 4 beak hook for bream. if your using coral prawns cut them up into smaller peices and shell them.
