Rocko . Many brands . You will not beat exile jigs for normal squiding . Colour is, white and white . Lures catch more fisherman than what they catch .

Sounds like a trip to afw is on the cards.

I always get a few white harimitsu jigs from compleat rocko! They are where I get my jigs from but want to see what else is out there.

One day I will take you out if you like .(No dramas ) if ever I get stuck on something re fishing . I always ask mark/ Phil . Never given me a bum steer on gear rigs ect . Don’t forget its quiet time for them atm . Mark actually got me onto duos . Never looked back . I use to be very heavy into trout fishing . I have every fly, ( still$ every lure at one stage in my life.best fly ended up being one my dad made . Hair of rabbit ( dark hair from top ,white hair from bottom of rabbit skin) once wet looked splitting image of mosquito fish . Plus loved eating rabbits added bonus . Poppers ( white/ squid jigs white/ plastics white . I’ve used many jigs over the years . Cockburn use to be pink safety bay green . Now my box white out

I got couple fancy's as in $20 jigs

only one working in family at moment

mrs being crook .. start of each season

spend $120 on black magic jigs for a stock

up . Don't have too many issues apart from

cloth tear .. but 10 jigs for that price. ? LJ

You like the white which nails them nicely.

my box though is mainly black from 2.5s

too 3.5s ..  funny old things the cephs .

Clear nail varnish

Of cloth jigs works a treat. I always say it’s what you’re comfortable with colours /baits/ rigs . No one wrong, no one right . IT’s the confidence in what you use .

 That would be great Lj.

The guys at compleat rocko have always been helpful. I always have a white jig out, haven't had much luck with the duo's but obviously I'm doing something wrong haha.

Hey Pirate, I've seen the black magics but they look similar to cheap ones off eBay so I havent tried them but I'll be giving black ones a go if that's what you use.

Tyrone from Tackle HQ sold me

Tue, 2022-11-29 11:35

Tyrone from Tackle HQ sold me a Keystone Egisharp. I balked at the $29 but the thing is a certified squid slayer and perfect for getting down on the drift.

I usually buy a bunch of Yamas or Haras from Japan at a fraction of the cost i.e. $8 each at one stage
