bent st.
just got a reply from engineer city rockingham removing 23,000m3 of sand transporting to carlisle st. so no beach launching there from late october to end of november , the eventual plan may be to build a rock wall at port kennedy.

That might help but i think they would need a good marina style ramp there .just a rock wall will do little to stop the swell and sand getting in , it really needs to be almost enclosed. then its a pain in the arse as you have drive up there to launch and run the risk of your vehcile getting broken into or worse still stolen.
Better to build one at safety bay--- but they won't because there dickheads.

Careful what you wish for.
Careful what you wish for. Last time I launched from OR it was up to about $11 to park. Free to launch if you don't need to park your trailer though lol

Ever looked into joing the OR Sea Sports Club Frosty? A mate who is a member keeps his boat on the hard stand there for a fee.

wont happen @ safety bay
i suggested in the vicinity - same place as ferry goes to penguin island , & that is a 100% NO! due to possibility of injuring penguins , he also said other obsticle is access to land for car parking - toilets etc. & @ port kennedy its all there
