Hi mate.
Pretty sure that the only worms over here are blood worms that are found in the mud flats along the river.
I used to get a few beach worms over east when I was a kid but have never heard of any over here .

I have dug up some small, blood red worms around Point Peron on the Shoalwater bay side of things, very easy to dig up. As they were quite small (maybe 30mm long and 2mm wide max) they were very tricky to put on the hook. I only tried them one time for around 10 minutes but they were dynamite for the sand whiting in the shallows. I had been using fresh peeled prawns with good results, the worms easily doubled the strike rate!
Hmmm, maybe I should persevere and try some at my favourite KG spots?
