Went out of Hillaries, and weather was magic. Hardly any drift at all which made squidding annoying. Plan was to go for a dive, but dive buddies all busy with lame excuses :p (floors, kids, mothers, sheesh, lol)

Zip John, Zip! Which meant I couldnt chase whiting either. Decided to go explore some lumps on the inside reefs and mapped them out with the sidescan (was a bit of a project of mine, so managed to do something productive though). If I had more time, or any fricken SP's jigs or bait, I woulda been out further chasing bigger things :p

Neels, I plan to learn from others mistakes here ;)  Maybe thats impossible, but if she dont understand, she aint getting a ring, haha. Though I foresee the only rings in the future will be of the calamari kind :p

Hlokk. It all seems pretty straight forward. Dont marry her unless she understands that fishing is your first love. Even if you are just dating it works well. But the moment the ring goes on the finger all previous bets are off.

And once you have kids...then its a whole new ball game...until the kids can go with you and then you have an instant crew.

Ah, indeed. I think that if I want to avoid the pitfalls of marriage or kids, I think I'll have to avoid both then. Its as straight forward as you want to make it, but that can be pretty damn hard with other complicating factors. Everything is always a compromise in some way, just a matter of how much you're willing to put up with (or not-so-willing)

LOL. But a lot of us have done it, and somehow we have all survived, and in some cases kept fishing. But in my case Golf and rallying had to go!!!!
