Another wreck vid- Ashmore reef and Browse Island

Just another quick vid on some more remote wrecks, some may find it interesting.

Up near the edge of the Timor sea for work in November and had the chance to jump in with the mask and snorkel a few times. Did this vid on wrecks first as it was the easiest.

Have a fair bit of footage also at Adele and the Rowleys, lots of diving and a bit of fishing. Will put them together soonish hopefully. unfortunately couldn't have a poke around Cartier island near Ashmore as we missed the tide. Another large shipwreck there and somewhere in the shallows a crashed Beaufighter that forced a landing after having an engine shot out in raid on Java in 1943.

Some may find it a bit slow, some may find it interesting, really spun out place in terms of natural history and also indo visitation. third wreck in the vid is probably the more interesting

I found your post to be very interesting, have you asked the museum about the wrecks if they can identify them.
If I may add a request to you and a lot of guys that put videos up on FW, could you please not put the writing in one colour on a different coloured back ground. When you get to your late sixties the reason why will become very apparent to you.
I hope you don't take offence at my comment it is offered in a truly constructive manner. Some of us old farts are really struggling to read the script on them

Haha yeah no worries I'll take into account the text. Just following a theme with my wreck videos though of red on black. Dont think the fishing boats can ever be identified The last ship is pretty much, more than likely the iron sailing ship the Runnymede, however its listed as unidentified because of the remote location the museum haven't been able to get out there and take measurements of fittings and such to actually make the call official. This lot all the GPS marks will be sent to them to update their wreck database

Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...

The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.

Everyone's just winging it.
