Aluminium under floor fuel tank manufacturer?
G'day all,
im looking to install a new under floor fuel tank in my tinnie. I have a horizon 465 easy fisher pro side console. It didn't come with an under floor tank so looking to put one forward of the centre line to get some weight moved further forward to help the boat not drag its bum so much. Also to stop the front bouncing so much.
i have had a fair use of the search button, and I know I remember seeing some skilled metal workers helping other fishwrecked members out for something similar in here. Can anyone recommend someone in Perth who can knock up a relatively simple Ali fuel tank? I have the floor out of the boat and have taken all the exact measurements etc.
i did look into a poly tank for ease of fitting and convenience, however there are one that really match the size of the area I need to fill.

AMH plastics make then custom as a alternative to ally. I had 3 made. Very good

Dm marine services on eBay
I had a custom 120 L tank made by this guy off eBay . Reasonable price including freight from eastern states and really well made. He was also easy to deal with and the tank arrived in Perth less than 2 weeks after I sent him the plans.

Scano, have you tried contacting sea-kem? A few members have had tanks made by him and all seem to be impressed with the quality.
