Airmar TM 260 1kw transom mount working with Furuno 627

Fishos,

I am looking to upgrade the transducer on my sounder and was wondering if the Furuno 627 will benefit from upgrading the transducer as i fish from anything from 10mts to 100mts .

All thoughts please
