Don't have this motor

Don't have this motor but there are so many things that effect fuel consumption. More info might help you get an answer .
What boat is it on . How many people / weight on board .
Cruising speed and of course sea conditions have a big impact on consumption - throttle on/off in rough conditions .
I'm sure someone can give you a ball park figure but every boat and skipper are different

Goodie I have a 2008 model 40 and I have run around the estuary all day and haven't even looked like running out. Also been down to the Bouvards on one tank and back which is a 16nm trip each way from the boat ramp and didn't run out. My boat is a 4.4 dory. Didn't check though to see how much I used. If you are chasing a second tank I have a couple in dawesville as I have put a inboard tank on my dingy.

Run on empty

From experience I know if you forget to put the fuel tank back in before you go out, you can have it idle for about 2 minutes and then travel approx 1km with just the fuel in the motor and whats in the attached line!!

Thanks for the resposes folks cant wait to get it on the boat!

EZ i might take you up on your offer i may be in contact once i get it all sorted.

The boat is a 16ft Brooker ally, so should do the trick for some offshore work on good days. Perfect for pinks and hopefully sneaking out of Walpole during the ban if weather permits

Goodie I just got one on a 4.2m Quintrex I have done approx 16nm and have about 7ltr left and have been giving it to her.  I would guesstimate approx 1ltr/nm but I'm still only on my first tank....fantastic little engine on all counts.  Hope this helps

Have seen some numbers on another forum.

Talking about a 40HP Honda, around 6km/litre or better, from memory. My F115 does around 2.2-2.3 km/litre pushing a 5.65 metre glass boat, so I am guessing you should be able to at least  double that?
