1 week - where should we go??

Hi all,
Got 2 weeks off early May and would like to take the family away for one week somewhere where we can do some decent land based fishing.
Kalbarri is an option although we have been 3 times in last 2 years and wouldn't mind trying somewhere different for the kids. It's hard to beat Kalbarri because fish are pretty much guaranteed and my kids love catching the little bream and whiting in the river.
I have a 4x4 but would prefer not an exclusively 4x4 location. Also would prefer north so weather is warmer and swimming is a possibility. So, who's got some ideas?

Great for the kids and an adventure around every corner in all wind directions. Peron , Monkey Mia, town jetty squid, top spot.

Chinbald cheers for the suggestion. I grew up going to Denham on school holidays regularly and the squidding was always really good from the jetty at night. We used to catch plenty of whiting and flatties from the beach at the southern end of town.
I remember at certain times of year the wind howls like crazy through the night but I cannot remember which times. What would May likely bring??
