Released 2 more pinks but nothing else bar a big sweep hit the surface all day. I caught 1 Dhuie, the sweep and 5 pinkies (kept 3), Greg caught one 57cm dhuie and a good pinky. Weather was perfect, just enough wind for a drift and not too cold.
This fish came from about 40-45m, was hooked very deep so was kept. I found a whole fish in its gullet and extracted it and put it on the snell, next drop I nailed another pinky on it. We picked most of the fish off one lump but only hit it for 5 drifts so as not to hammer it. Most of the other lumps were pretty barren.

There seems to be quite a lot of the smaller dhuies around at the moment. Sounds like you'll be eating well.

First Dhuie
Nice little Dhuie there Andy. Doesnt look like he came from deep water either.
Does the "First Dhuie" mean youve got a few more photos to share with us or did you only get the pinkys and this one?
From the looks it was a nice day to be out. Pity some of us had to work.
