Land based Rankin

Land based Rankin

Buried under the cliffs with 30lb leader, one lucky capture. Great moment.

Catch of a lifetime. Some patience and skill required there I'd imagine.

Been there

Sun, 2012-10-07 19:43

It was some years ago and we went for a 4x4 drive north of Broome. Sat on the rocks at low tide and ate plenty of fresh oysters while downing a few beers. Hand line in the water in a hole in the reef and hooked up this massive Rankin. No skill, just a strong line and plenty of elbow juice LOL. 30lb leader was certainly not the go then.

First class camera work

First class camera work Chuddington, If you see the video of this capture I think its fair to say there was more ass than class. Pretty sure I was staring off into the sunset (not even paying attention). She went pretty hard on the 3500 game

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.
