Darwin fishing charters

Does anyone have any recommendations for any of the charter fishing companies operating out of Darwin? I am planning a trip there for work next May. I have looked at a few websites and they all look pretty good. However, first hand information on who is good (or bad) would be great, Many thanks, Colin Hay

hi colin i just came back
hi colin
i just came back from darwin sunday. i can reccomend equinox for blue water if you want to bottom bounce for a variety of reefies but arafura if you want black jew (we caught 10 for the boat and as a plus big merve hughes was aboard).
we fished with reel screaming barra charters in the shady camp billabong and i highly reccomend this guy, most other guides hit corroboree billabong and put up with the crowds but jarrod will take you the extra distance and produce qaulity fish. we caught several barra to 80cm and heaps within the 60-75cm range.
i'll post up some pics tommorrow
cheers pete

That's great info. I have a few spare days, so I might try the barra trip and Arafura. Would love to catch a nice Black Jew. Thanks for the head up.
