winter mulloway

hey guys i have been trying to get mulloway for ages but still no success.
can you still get them in winter and if so what bait to use.
i spend most of my time around freo, should i go further north?

Lucky for you it ain't winter anymore!!
I got mine in May, so they are around in the colder months. From what I've read it's just a matter of putting in the time and using baits which they would be feeding on around the area you are fishing.

mate few weeks go hard in the
mate few weeks go hard in the river fresh baits ( dead and live ) livies get a bit more time out in the water tho when the blowie are thick . They will be comen up in big numbers soon !
Not to say they are not there now :)
best place to get your first .... and the weather is always nicer on the river side with an esky full of spirits its the only way for me ;)
