what do you guys think?

well unfortunatley my olfd rod has come to its end (broken) so now im stuck between the perflueger trion and the shimano mexican fire raider just for lures for fish like bream whiting and flathead so what do you guys recomend? has anyone had any of the rods before?

phlueger trion
phlueger trion is a great rod,i have a phlueger trion 3-6kg matched with a phlueger 60 salt,that i curently use atm for soft plastics,i caught a 40 cm dhuie which was released,plus heaps of black arses that also were released imo got heaps of balls for what you need,when i destroy it i will consider a more expensive rod as faras im concerned you dont need to spend lots of money on an expensive rod for soft plastics while your learning,just tecnique on fighting plus landing decent fish,hope this helps parry

I recently bought a 1-4kg 2
I recently bought a 1-4kg 2 peice mexican fire raider and i love it, however both the trion and the raider are pretty good value for money. I would recomend going to a shop and trying them both out to see which you prefere :) have a good one

I've got a 3-6 Trion.
Best fish so far 5kg Milkfish. Great rod, especially if you can get it on special around $100.
