Submitted by PACEMAKER on Sun, 2008-09-21 18:31
Can anyone tell me if there is a zoning for the upcoming V5 ban?? If so where would I find this info. Im wanting to do the right thing and be fully educated on the new ruling before it starts.
Thanks in advance

what about those who sport
what about those who sport fish, for say snapper?
I do know of a couple of people who chase pinky's in shallow waters on light gear, but release their fish. Is this still possible?
For some people this might be interesting in finding new ground.

If the WCB V5 does (still) go ahead, you can still FISH for snapper (or any of the other V5 species), you just can't KEEP them (they've got to be released).
EDIT - ..and yes, that's only about the WCB V5 ban, not the existing breading season closures.

Looks like the new bag limit
Looks like the new bag limit is 2 for Snapper according to the link (and none at all during the v5 ban of course) oh and legal size will be 45cm up from 41cm.
