UK to Albany

Hi all, just checking back in to say hello.

We moved back to the uk 6 years ago after 11 years in Perth.

Had enough of England so we just moved back, this time to Little Grove in Albany. Too hot and not enough fish in Perth!

Already bought a boat (4.5m quinnie) and  our shipping container with all my tackle arrives tomorrow so i’ll be good to go soon.

I’ve no ideawhere to start down here but am looking forward to the learning curve. Hopefully i’ll be posting some pics of something other than herring before too long. Any tips gratefully received!

Anyway, it’s f*ing good to be back...☺️

 Awesome little suburb to

Awesome little suburb to choose, I lived there for two year 2015-2017 and thoroughly loved it. Only  went back to south metro because wife's job changed. I'd try beach launching from Hartman's Beach near Cosy Corner. Some real good ground not too far out from there for quality demersals. Pick your day's though as can get a bit rough at times.I used to launch at the sailing club public ramp Little Grove and go all the way out through Princess Royal Harbour and then out King George Sound all the way around to Cosy Corner Hartman's and everywhere in between, but beach launching  at Hartman's is less boat travel . Otherwise launch from Two Peoples Bay for more good ground around the other side of Albany.
