The Sound

Was planning in heading out from Two rocks sunday, but the weather is starting to get worse, so we may need to find an alternative.
Just wondering if anyone knows how the sound is going? thinking out round Carnac or something for KG's Flatties, maybe Pinkies?
With the 3 Metre swell rocking in and looks like light Westerlies, dont think going deap will be much of an option.
Thanks Guys.

No swell in the sound, only
No swell in the sound, only chop comes up.
Can hide behind Garden island, carnac no dramas.
A little further north might produce some swell, but nothing to be concerned about.

Swell!
Bodie,
Tworocks is do-able on a 3m and under swell like forecasted. I dont produce a lot of fish as that swell "generally" stirs up the water and puts the fish off for me. Yeh I still get fish no probs but if the waters dirty my catch decreases for sure!
This swell & dirty water however is great for pinks (inside or outside the Sound) The pinks are starting to crank & there's still plenty of squid ATM
All the best!

We are going into the sound.
We are going into the sound. Be on the water by 6.30-7am
Anyone have any hints on where the Pinkys are at the moment???? I was told by someone how the snapper move round the sound (Wont say his name) :)
We were thinking around Carnac, But some people did say there were going 2 miles out in Kyaks, so maybe they are in closer?
Anyhow not done much fishing in the sound, except for squid, so will be a learning experience. Might even get out onto the 5 fatham. We do have a 22ft boat so...not too small, but could be uncomfortable up and two rocks, and a long way to go!!!!!!
Thanks guys
PS: Trip number 20+ im sure to try get my snapper cherry popped!!

Yeh we had a play around in
Yeh we had a play around in the sound and garden island on Sat.
Didnt manage too much with only squid and whiting around.
I think we saw the 'mulie brigade' and 'yak brigade' just off woodies ont he way out. There was like 12 boats and 4-6 yaks i think. But none seemed too excited, especially the ones in the yaks!!! they looked cold!
Ah well was still a good day on the water, we played around on some weed patches after squid, also picked up some small but good fun skippy as well.
Ryan, i will try stop in on Tuesday after work :) around 5ish?
Cheers mate
