Just seen the episode on TV on the weekend about Copburn snapper at night. Was wondering if any one could tell me how long do you stay burleying in the same spot woth out catching before moving and trying another spot?

Once I have picked my spot
Once I have picked my spot and anchored up for the night, I generally stay there.
I am by no means an expert, but the snapper seem to move around a lot at night so if you are in a decent spot and get a good trail going, it is usualy just a matter of time.
Plus hauling anchor and relocating in the dark is a massive pain in the ass!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
