Smallish plotter required

So I got a small boat which has a Garmin 820xs purely for maps and a Furuno 627 as sounder powered by a TM260 1kw trannie.

My thoughts are to use the 820xs as my sounder as it is capable of receving 1kw unlike the furuno. I do however like the stand-alone set up though and was thinking of replacing the furruno with a dedicated plotter.

Size is pretty inportant as they both only just fit, the mounting bracket is actually screewed through the perspex. Dose anyone have any good surgestion? Did a google search but nothing jumped out.

How are the maps on the raymarine?

I currently have a gold card in the Garmin, would that be compatable?

When i had a dragonfly I used a goldcard and it was fine. I run a furuno 628 as a sounder now with a raymarine A series 5.7 inch as a plotter which is awesome.  Unfortunately the axiom which replaced them only comes in a 7inch or bigger...but 210mm width which is only 30mm wider than your 627
