i had one about 2 years ago, it was a nice smooth reel but the bail arm snapped on a fish, the dealer wouldnt replace it either as he said i must have dropped it,so my experience of them is not good
I had one for about two seasons, the thing is tough but not so smooth after a while. The drag clicker is the first thing to go. A tad bit outdated now too i'd rather go something like an opus bull or a spheros.
we have a couple of them , 7500 and 9500 , they are a decent reel and can handle some nice fish but they have to be well maintained or they do have a tendancy to go a bit stiff .we have landed double hookups of 5kg pinkys on them with no probs and sombos. if you go the big boss reels just keep the servicing up on them and they will do good for the price
for the price i beleive there is better stuff on the market y not a spheros or opus bull
as for the rod they are the goods i use the 10 ft duran and is a great tailor rod and i cant break the thing even brought a 30+kg shovel nose to the sand last week and i was giving it heaps

Hello I am also interested in this post. Ive checked them out at the tackle shop and the 12footer I saw seemed nice.
Look forward to hearing from someone who has used one.
Cheers

Exactly, I was going to ask the same question
The rods are great value and an awesome light tailor rod, while the reels aren't too bad for the money.

I dont think they have
I dont think they have instant anti reverse, I remember the one I tried being a bit like the old penn 8500.
Seemed solid other than that tho.
