A few important games for top eight spots.

Hopefully fyfe in for dawson and Weller holds his spot next week. I liked Alex pearce up forward. dropped a few marks but took a few as well and ran hard. wasn't out of place.

thing is every game the pressure ratches up another notch as finals gets closer lol
the pressure to succeed is almost palpable for freo and their fans , expectation to finish minor premiers and win a flag !!!!

I think the second point
I think the second point would cure the first point. The quality of the ball coming into the forward 50 today was woeful. and turnovers! I think all the Giants goals were scored from turnovers.
what was the reason for the umpires taking the ball off pav inside 50, and bringing it back to the centre square for a freo free kick? pav was about to kick for goal. and freo lost any advantage because the Giants flooded back. I was lost on that one....

I think the umpiring was shocking with all the games this weekend.
Watching some of them I am thinking it is getting worse. It has been so inconsistent not only from game to game, quarter to quarter but also umpire to umpire.
I'm thinking we are way to over umpired & now we have video revues that, IMO, are mostly not needed & slow the game down, especially after they wanted to speed it up after a point is scored.
Just confused ??????
