Problem with Furuno 620

Well the 620 that froze up 3 weeks ago has come back from repair shop, dead as unfortunately so a new Furuno 627 will be purchased this week. B O A T really does stand for bring out another thousand. Ah well that's how it goes.

Hold on to the old unit for
Hold on to the old unit for spares.
Have saved a few 585s from the bin with LCD panel, Mother board replacements. The last 2 had faulty ribbon cables between the Mother board and display which is a very cheap fix.

Thanks ROCKPOM, I still have the 620 but purchased a 627 to replace it.The shop I took it to said there was no fix.
