Prawns?

Friday evening looks decent and I am thinking of taking the kids on the boat and trying my hand at prawning. Any hints?

Great diving night Alfred,
Great diving night Alfred, but no good for the boat. Not much tidal movement on Friday. I'll be diving....if not camping.
Always good to get out on the river at night anyway.

Tides are not good from
Tides are not good from Thursday onwards for dabbing minimal tide movement
Wednesday onwards next week the tides will become good for dabbing even better if we get some good rains before then

Good catch for 1 tank Bill, when i get back from down South i'll get into them. No excuses now with my extra layer.......not so bbrrrrrrrr!
As for dabbing, the next New Moon will have a good flush!

did well on crabs and
did well on crabs and scallops and bagged a good feed of prawns as well. Water clarity wasn't too bad Dan very little tide. The prawns size seems to be getting better. I talked to guy who swam that area I was telling you about he had about 4 kg in his sock good haul for one tank.

In winter when I go surfing,
In winter when I go surfing, I chuck on a radiator underneath my wetsuit. Its basically a long sleeve rashie with a thin neoprene layer. Mixing and matching You can get all seasons comfortable. Might be something to look into if any of you guys want to go diving closer to winter.
