me, i'd!
Spread your dropper loop distances further apart than normal. Use glow squids (no lights) like B2's and use squid for bait ie atleast 1 or 2 of your droppers having small whole California squid.
All the best!

tyrnos 30 would fit the bill

yes!
Yes the Tyrnos 30 is good and for a bit more $$ you can go for the Daiwa Sealine 30....very nice....PM sent!

i have both
the tyrnos 30 and the tld 30 both very good reels and have the advantage over the other. i tend to fish with the tyrnos more just for the weight factor but for drag i find the tld30 better.

Yes the weight of the TLD & Tyrnos are light but Sealines Dual disk drag system and full metal constuction makes it more robust over the other two also!

Saltist
Mine died , a horrible death , with a 40 kg Sambo rampaging around and the anti reverse shat itself , both anti's went at the same time , had a good run with it tho , recon it's had more abuse than any other Saltist in WA .
