How did the fight compare to a mackie? Apparently they go pretty hard.

What a way to break a duck!

What a way to break a duck! I have only caught 1 at Exmouth and I was disappointed with the fight. Must have just been a sluggish one!

First run was long and really fast

Fri, 2023-06-09 11:21

i was hanging on and watching the 24kg line dump off the tyrnos 30. When he stopped i reeled him back in fairly easily ( just heavy with no fight) when he saw the boat he went for a quick short run after that i think it died as it didnt react to being netted, didnt kick once on the floor of the boat and never kicked when i held it for the photo. cheers
