try witticara creek at

try witticara creek at sunrise or maybe blue holes. if you can get across to the frustration reef side of things there is usually mulla action at sunset. last time we were there some dudes hit a nice mulla at sunrise on ganged mulies while going for tailor. but yes ask laurie from murchison and he usually is in the know if not head down to the tackle shop near chinamans.

As shane said, Whittecarra Creek and the Frustration's side of the river are good spts to try. Near Chinamans in the evening can also turn up some big mulloway at times.

Mate   When I have fished

Mate

When I have fished Kalbarri for mulloway I try the spots the boys are saying. If the swell is down and the winds are right try oyster reef. thats where i pulled this mullwoay on my photo. if ya got a 4wd and can be bothered try down at lucky bay for some action. chinamans is good as well if you put in the hours.

cheers godders

hey

was there a couple weeks ago few tailor and a couple mulla's caught between red bluff and witticara.

couple tailor and snook caught from 8.30pm onwards at chinamans aswell as shovel nose.

heard oysters reef was fishing well with tailor and mullas if you can get passed the sharks. and saw someone fishing in a tinny on the inside of chinamans reef. looked like he was doing alright but bit dark to see.

gf caught a 32cm skippy on the jetty closest to chinamans aswell.

The guy in the tinny was probably Tangles

Kalbarri fishing

Fri, 2009-12-04 12:04

Live in the area, know a lot of spots. If you have a 4wd go 20kms south to Lucky bay and fish the beach just north of the shacks. There is some great gutters along the beach at the moment and they will produce Mulloway, sharks, and dozens of other species over the summer holidays. may even see you in the area.

If you require further info send message

Goodluck
